My name is Susan and I live with my husband and two children in the West of Scotland.

I have kept pet rabbits for a number of years and had a rabbit when I was a child.

I first seen a picture of Angora's at the start of 2009. I just love the furnishings on there ears and feet and I had to have one, the problem was there were no breeders in Scotland.

I decided then that I wanted to hobby breed Angoras as it is such a shame that they weren't being kept in Scotland.  In June I found a breeder in the West Midland's that had two does available.  I was so excited I had been researching for 6 months by then and still not met an actual Angora.  I then managed to find a buck in Northumberland.

Even though I breed my rabbits, they are my pets.  They all come out to play every day and I love grooming them as it gives you a special bond with them.

My rabbits are hard work and need to be brushed every other day but they are so rewarding and I would be bored without them.

I am planning to show my own home bred Angora's in 2010.

I am a member of the National Angora Club and the British Rabbit Club.
