EXTRA CARE

The difference between my other two rabbits is Angoras need groomed every few days.  If they ingest to much wool when grooming themselves they
can cause a blockage (WOOL BLOCK).  This can be fatal.  The way to prevent wool block is as well as regular grooming, is to give them fresh papaya, mango or pineapple in their diet.  This helps them to pass the wool.  You can buy papaya enzyme tablets from your local health food store and give them one of these tablets every other day.  I feed mine the above every 2/3 days.

I use newspaper on hutch/cage floors as sawdust and megazorb get caught in their wool.

You can also  spin your Angora's wool and make things.  I have included a web page on my links page to a lovely lady called Lucy in Scotland.
